Employers with over five employees are also required to register for and pay employee social security contributions. Calculating employee net salaries, including personal income tax and social security contribution obligations under Myanmar law, on a monthly basis and preparing payroll information and pay-slips summarizing gross and net salaries and contributions.

Processing salary payments to employees via the client’s designated bank
Registration of employees for Personal Income Tax: notifying the employer’s local office of the Internal Revenue Department (IRD) regarding the appointment of new employees in order to facilitate the payment of employee personal income tax.
Registration of employer and employees with the Social Security Board: registering both the employer itself and its employees with the local office of the Social Security Board (SSB) in relation to payment of social security contributions.
Filing and payment of employee Personal Income Tax:

Assisting with transferring payment of employee personal income tax to the IRD via internet banking and submitting details of payments to the IRD for confirmation.

Preparing and filings monthly and annual personal income tax return filings with the IRD.
Filing and payment of employee/employer Social Security Contributions: making payments of applicable social security contributions to the SSB and preparing and submitting social security filings.
